If you are driving, there is a $6 southbound toll. Northbound, it is free.

5 Cliff House
You will find two restaurants at Cliff House : the Sutro Restaurant and the Bistro.
Cliff House is located in the western part of San Francisco, at the northern extremity of Ocean Beach. The view of the Pacific Ocean from Cliff House is very nice. Cliff House is part of the Golden Gate Recreation Area.
Tip: Hike the amazing Lands End trails next to Cliff House. It is a very enjoyable walk. This trail offers amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands.

Coit Tower which is located on the top of Telegraph Hill, offers a spectacular view of the Bay of San Francisco. The millionaire Lillie Hitchcock made a donation of $100,000 to the city of San Francisco for "the purpose of adding to the beauty of the city I have always loved."
Parts of the funds were used to design and build the Coit Tower to honor the firemen of the City of San Francisco. A Columbus Statue, facing the Bay, is located next to the Coit Tower.
The price for a ticket to enter the Coit Tower is $7. You will find Murals created by 25 of California's leading artists of the 1930s. it is a nice work out to reach the top of the tower.

The easiest, for sure, is to reach the top by car.
